Overview
In this role you will maintain end-to-end IT system architectures across servers, virtualized environments, and storage, while driving security hardening and compliance. You will support day-to-day operations of Windows and Red Hat Linux enterprise environments, manage AD, DNS/DHCP, CERT authorities, and policy controls, and help safeguard national-defense systems. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable operations for mission-critical programs. This is an opportunity to shape secure IT foundations for high-stakes national-defense technology.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain end-to-end IT system architectures spanning servers, virtualization, and storageDrive vulnerability remediation, compliance testing, and continuous hardening to meet information-assurance standardsSupport day-to-day operations of Windows and Red Hat Linux enterprise environments (AD, DB servers, app servers, DHCP/DNS, CA)Create, manage, and delete group policies and user/security groupsConfigure desktops, VMs, and servers to meet security requirementsDevelop Windows Sys Admin processes and procedures
Key requirementsMust be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearanceKnowledge of IT Systems Engineering principles and best practicesBasic knowledge of virtualized environmentsExperience with Windows and Linux systemsKnowledge of server, database, storage, network, and security conceptsSecurity+ certificationIT automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash)Exposure to DevSecOps practicesExperience supporting classified IT environments
