We invest in our people — because a strong, supported team is the foundation of everything we do.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled, dependable Surgical Dental Assistant to join our full-time, on-site team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our oral surgeons during procedures — from simple extractions to complex surgical cases — and play a vital role in delivering a smooth, safe, and supportive experience for every patient.Your day-to-day will include:• Chairside assisting during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures• Managing patient care before, during, and after surgery• Preparing and efficiently turning over operatories between cases• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized surgical environment• Upholding strict OSHA infection control standards at all times• Guiding patients through post-operative care instructions with clarity and compassion• Accurately documenting patient records in our practice management system• Assisting with ordering and maintaining surgical supplies and inventory• Supporting the front office team with scheduling and patient communication when neededIf you thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment, take pride in your clinical skills, and want to be part of a team that genuinely values your contributions — we’d love to hear from you.✅ Qualifications• Prior experience assisting in oral surgery or a surgical dental setting strongly preferred• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification preferred; DA certification considered• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures, tray setups, and instrument identification• Strong command of infection control and OSHA sterilization protocols• Dental imaging/X-ray experience; radiation safety certification a plus• DAANCE certification (or willingness to obtain) is a bonus• Current CPR/BLS certification required• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus• Excellent interpersonal skills — warm, professional, and patient-focused• Detail-oriented with the ability to stay calm and focused in a high-volume surgical environment• Team player who communicates clearly and contributes to a positive office culture💼 What We OfferCompensation: starting $24 (salary will reflect surgical experience and RDA credential)Health benefits401kPaid time offContinuing education support and CE reimbursementDAANCE certification support for the right candidateA stable, full-time schedule — no evenings or weekendsSupportive leadership that respects your expertise and timebirthday celebration recognition uniformsReal growth opportunity: build your surgical assisting skills alongside experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeons in a premier practice
