Temp to HireKennesaw, GAJob Duties:Create all shipping documents for outbound freightSchedule all outbound packaged, LTL freight and international shipmentsSchedule pick ups and arrange inbound packagesEnsure accuracy in shipment method and shipping address on all documentationLogisticsNegotiate best rates for all inbound/outbound shipmentsWork with various freight carriers to organize multiple shipmentsUsage of ERP Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust have at least 2 years of Logistics experienceUnderstands supply chain common obstacles and effective solutionsExperience working with various freight carriers, both domestic and internationalPossesses industry knowledge and terminologyKnowledge of state, federal and international applicable laws and regulations (i.e., customs, TSA, security, and all other import and export government agencies that regulate international trade)Proficient in ERP for shipment documentationStrong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite/365Working knowledge of shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and experience with Courier Services and LTL Freight. Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels inside and outside of the organizationAbility to analyze complex situations and arrive to sound conclusions. Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items. Basic understanding of warehouse procedures. Ability to establish priorities as situations ariseOperate with integrity and sense of urgencyAbility to operate forklift safely as needed (training will be provided if necessary.
