Our company is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our quality control team as a CMM Programmer. In addition to programming, performing and troubleshooting the calibration of the coordinate measuring machine, you will also use precise measurement tools to ensure our products meet our manufacturing standards. Applicants need to be able to read blueprints and interpret GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols, so some technical training or professional experience is required. How You will Do it: Program, calibrate and troubleshoot the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) Conduct quality control inspections Perform maintenance as necessary Work with quality team to meet manufacturing deadlines Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor/ Associate degree is preferred or 3-5 years of technical training Blueprint reading skills Familiarity with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols Experience with precise measurement tools, such as calliper, micrometre, pin gage, height gage, dial indicator, Pi tape, deltronic pins, use tripod to inspect surface flatness, bore gage, optical comparator-angle/distance, fillet gage, radius gage set, surface finish chart, thread gage 2A/2B, profilometer, groove micrometre, blade micrometre, super micrometre Basic math skills Attention to detail What’s In It For You Competitive Compensation & Holiday Pay Fun & challenging culture while still providing work/life balance for our employees Fast growth opportunities and quicker career development for the right candidate Mentors to help you grow both personally and professionally Decentralized business structure that promotes an entrepenuerial spirit Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Experience: Coordinate measuring machine: 3 years (Preferred) GD&T: 3 years (Preferred) CAM programming: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
