- Release Gatekeeping & Quality Assurance: Own the quality, reliability, and deployment readiness of all frontend systems transitioning from staging to production
- Automated & AI-Driven Testing: Architect, scale, and maintain automated frontend testing suites (Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest) using AI tools to accelerate coverage
- Weather & Geospatial Data Validation: Inspect complex weather model outputs and interactive map displays (Mapbox, MapLibre, deck.gl) to identify data artifacts, rendering glitches, or unexpected forecasting behavior before they impact customers
- Frontend Development Contribution: Hammer away at our frontends, contributing directly to UI workflows, component architecture, and feature enhancements when quality assurance goals require hands-on code development
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor production performance, error logs, and user workflows across our Apex industry solutions (Aviation, Utilities, Agriculture)
Hard Filters:✅ 5+ years of experience building and testing production software, with a strong background in front-end development, test automation (SDET), or quality engineering✅ Deep expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS (browser behavior, state management, performance)✅ Proven SDET / QA Background: Hands-on experience designing robust E2E and unit testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest) for data-rich web applications✅ Domain Intuition: Foundational interest or professional experience in weather, geospatial data, meteorology, or complex scientific data visualization✅ Hands-on production fluency with frontier AI models and agentic coding tools✅ Based in the Denver, CO area (hybrid model, minimum 3 days/week in-office)
