Sr Equipment Engineer

Senior Equipment EngineerKelly Engineering is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to own and optimize semiconductor equipment performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on engineering role, not a desk job.What You’ll Do:Own performance, uptime, and reliability of assigned toolsLead tool installs, upgrades, and qualificationsTroubleshoot complex equipment issues (etch/vacuum systems)Analyze tool data and drive yield improvementsManage spare parts and vendor supportDevelop maintenance procedures and train techniciansPartner with process and maintenance teamsWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of relevant experience as a tool owner or equipment engineerSemiconductor fab experience (REQUIRED)Strong troubleshooting of vacuum / etch systemsHands-on mindset (not just design)Experience with vendors or field service (Lam, AMAT, etc. is a plus)Strong communication and problem-solvingSchedule:Monday – FridayFlexible start timesMust attend daily morning meeting (~8:30 AM)Occasional off-hours support as neededWhy This Role:High-impact role owning critical equipmentStable team with long tenureGrowth into long-term engineering positionExposure to advanced semiconductor operations
