Inventory Controls AnalystThe Inventory Controls Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for customer demand while minimizing excess inventory. They monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve inventory management processes. The Inventory Analyst will also oversee item master data, conduct root cause analysis investigations into inventory value discrepancies, conduct regular inventory audits, and provide inventory reconciliation guidance. This position will report directly to the Materials Manager. Job Responsibilities Analyze inventory levels and trends to identify opportunities for improvement Develop & monitor inventory performance metrics Research and recommend solutions to inventory-related issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and systems related to inventory management Create and distribute inventory reports to management on a regular basis Maintain Sage item masters Create stocking strategies for various part classes Track and reduce SMI, E&O Create quarterly inventory projections and own total inventory value Increase the rigor of the cycle counting program and drive higher accuracy through root-cause analysis and projects Spearhead annual physical inventory Facilitate adoption of new material processes within the ERP system (NCR/MRB process, etc.) Participate in the SI&OP process Performs other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications The ability to multitask, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively, and work independently to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field 3+ years of experience in inventory control analysis or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Teams, ERP systems (Sage100, SAP, Oracle, etc.) A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as this role performs a wide variety of complicated tasks. Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Must be detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and can work independently with a minimal level of supervision. Process/systems/industrial engineering experience or training ERP experience APICS certification Lean Six Sigma/Greenbelt training Process-oriented mindset Location: Position will be in-office, based in Madera California. We offer competitive compensation based on experience. The pay range is $51,562 - $77,463 annually.
