Compliance SpecialistLocation: Culver City, CAContract Details:Position Type: ContractPay Rate: $53.00 / Hour (USD)Job Summary:Reporting to the Vice President, Ethics & Legal Compliance, this role is an integral part of the SPE Ethics & Legal Compliance department. With day-to-day oversight and input from the Vice President, this position is responsible for: 1) providing operational and project management support for global compliance objectives designed to mitigate company compliance risks; 2) leading the SPE Ethics & Legal Compliance department's merger and acquisitions integration team; 3) supporting the design and development of new compliance operations initiatives to address evolving business and compliance requirements; and 4) collaborating with business teams and relevant cross functional stakeholders to undertake additional activities as needed to address compliance requirements globally.Key Responsibilities:70% – Operational and Project Management Support for Global Compliance Objectives:With day-to-day oversight and input from the Vice President, Ethics & Legal Compliance, provide operational and project management support for global compliance objectives designed to comply with laws, adhere to the Client Group Corporation Compliance Education Protocol, and mitigate company compliance risksHandle the operational and project management aspects of SPE's Conflict of Interest program, including the Annual Certification Campaign and ad hoc disclosuresConduct investigations related to SPE's third party screening and due diligence programs for compliance with Client's Anti-Bribery and Third Party Engagement Policies and applicable lawsManage SPE's securities trading notification processes for designated individuals10% – Merger and Acquisitions Integration Team Leadership:With day-to-day oversight from the Vice President, Ethics & Legal Compliance, lead the SPE Ethics & Legal Compliance department's merger and acquisitions integration team to ensure implementation of all compliance requirements at newly acquired legal entities10% – New Compliance Initiatives Development:With day-to-day oversight from the Vice President, Ethics & Legal Compliance, support the design and development of new compliance initiatives to address evolving business and compliance requirementsDesign and develop an annual Compliance Week highlighting compliance initiatives at SPE10% – Cross-Functional Collaboration:With day-to-day oversight from the Vice President, Ethics & Legal Compliance, collaborate with business teams and relevant cross-functional stakeholders to undertake additional activities as needed to address compliance requirements globally and enable compliance objectives globallyEducation Requirements:BA/BS preferredRequired Experience:7-10 years of compliance operations experienceBenefits:Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundWork Authorization:Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.About GTT:GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
