Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Purchasing and Facilities Director, perform a variety of administrative, purchasing, special projects and assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
Lead Responsibilities
Provide oversight of assigned staff and daily responsibilities, organize work and assist in setting priorities
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, installation and repairs on a variety of building systems and appliances, including plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, drywall and electrical systems
Be primary point of contact for staff and vendors for assigned sites
Monitor all incoming facilities work orders, repair items as needed and update facility tracking system on a regular basis
Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedule for all assigned sites
Visit all sites to perform site reviews to ensure facility is clean and in good working order
Schedule and coordinate work performed by third party vendors
Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections at all sites
Schedule annual water filter changes
Schedule annual plumbing back flow inspection
General Facilities Responsibilities
Execute punch lists as directed by Manager for repairs, painting, etc.
Maintain facilities as directed by Manager
Complete general building maintenance repairs as needed including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and drywall repairs
Demonstrate appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools, equipment and machinery
Order/coordinate distribution of office and other supplies
Order/distribute toners for copiers, fax, etc.
Provide backup for courier service for Finance department (approximately 4.5 to 5 hours daily) including pickup of daily cash receipts and delivery of deposits to bank and delivery of mail throughout the clinic locations, as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum five years' related experience
Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical trades
Valid California driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Experience/familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel), business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities
Physical Requirements
Sufficient physical agility to perform routine maintenance work which may include climbing ladders, crawling under desks and other furniture, using normal tools such as hammer, screwdriver
Ability to carry up to 75 lbs
Pay Range
$28.00 - $32.00 Depending On Experience
