Warehouse Receiver

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Receiver and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from delivery to storage. As a Warehouse Receiver, you'll be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments, supporting order fulfillment, and maintaining organized inventory levels. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers and keep our warehouse running seamlessly. Duties Receive incoming shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners, ensuring accurate unloading and placement of goods Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and document findings thoroughly Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to record receipt details, update inventory status, and manage stock levels Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order pickers and RF scanners to ensure accuracy Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products according to warehouse distribution standards and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) guidelines Load and unload trucks safely while adhering to safety protocols for equipment like forklifts and reach trucks Assist with packaging products securely for shipping, ensuring all items are ready for dispatch in line with shipping & receiving procedures Support inventory counts through cycle counts or full stock audits to maintain accurate stock records Collaborate with team members in warehouse distribution tasks to optimize workflow and meet daily operational goals Requirements Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely; certification preferred but not required Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar platforms Strong understanding of order fulfillment, picking & packing, stock management, and inventory control procedures Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Knowledge of e-commerce logistics processes is a plus Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects regularly, and operate warehouse equipment throughout shifts Attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency Join us as a Warehouse Receiver where your skills will directly contribute to our success!
