The Account Manager manages a portfolio of customers and helps grow accounts through excellent communication, follow-through, and smart program recommendations.What You'll DoCustomer Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts (phone, email, text)Resolve concerns quickly and professionally, coordinating with operations and techniciansProactively follow up after services, answer questions, and reinforce the value of our programsSupport retention efforts (renewals, holds, save offers, and service calls)Sales & Growth:Recommend the best programs for each property: lawn fertilization & weed control, Tree & Shrub, and pest servicesMake outbound calls/texts for upsells, renewals, and seasonal campaignsIdentify cross-sell opportunities and clearly explain benefits and expectationsMeet weekly/monthly sales and retention goals and track resultsAccount Support & Admin:Maintain accurate notes and customer details in our CRMSchedule and coordinate services with the office and field teamProcess payments, update billing preferences, and assist with installment optionsDocument conversations, outcomes, and next stepsQualificationsStrong communication skills and confidence on the phoneNatural relationship-builder with a customer-first mindsetComfortable with goal-based work (sales/retention metrics)Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accountsTech-savvy (CRM, email, spreadsheets, texting platforms)Prior experience in account management, customer success, inside sales, or service advising is a plusLawn, landscape, or pest industry experience is helpful—but not required (we'll train the right person)Associate/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experienceBenefitsCompetitive pay structure (base + commission/bonus)Paid training and ongoing coachingGrowth opportunity within a stable, locally owned businessSupportive team culture and clear expectationsEmployee discounts on Lawn Doctor services (within our service area)
