Interns will work alongside experienced professionals to support real-world projects that impact production, quality, and operational performance.This role is designed to provide exposure to advanced manufacturing processes, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while developing practical skills applicable to future careers in manufacturing, engineering, or operations.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may vary based on department and area of focus but may include:Support production, engineering, or operations teams with daily activities and project workAssist with process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, workflow optimization)Participate in data collection and analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesHelp document and standardize work instructions, procedures, and processesCollaborate on projects related to automation, equipment efficiency, or capacity planningSupport quality initiatives, including inspections, audits, and corrective actionsAssist with inventory, supply chain, or scheduling activitiesParticipate in cross-functional meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvementMaintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company policiesQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related fieldStrong interest in manufacturing, automation, or industrial operationsBasic understanding of manufacturing processes or engineering principles preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysisEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentWhat You'll GainHands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical and aerospace)Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and automation systemsOpportunity to work on meaningful projects with measurable impactMentorship from experienced professionals in engineering and operationsDevelopment of technical, analytical, and professional skillsPotential consideration for future full-time opportunitiesWork EnvironmentThis role may involve time on the production floor and in an office setting.
