The successful candidate will serve as the chief administrative officer, responsible for promoting the institution's mission and ensuring alignment with the school's vision, strategic priorities, and academic culture. This role involves providing leadership in the development, implementation, and assessment of the school's strategic plan, as well as overseeing the academic portfolio, including curriculum development, program evaluation, and the continuous improvement of nursing programs. The Dean will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with regional and program-specific accreditation, as well as state regulatory requirements, and will lead faculty and staff recruitment, development, and performance evaluations. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Nursing must have a terminal degree (Ph.D. or professional equivalent) and a graduate degree in nursing, with a minimum of 5 years' of administrative experience in nursing education. The role requires a strong commitment to the philosophies and outcomes of the institution and the School of Nursing, as well as knowledge and competence in nursing education practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of exceptional teaching, scholarship, and service, and possess exceptional interpersonal and administrative skills. Responsibilities also include managing the school's budget, pursuing external funding, and representing the school to various stakeholders.
