At Kimble we strive for perfection in everything that we do.Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Component Rebuilder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding major components of heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and final drives. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who takes pride in restoring equipment to peak performance.Key Responsibilities:Disassemble and rebuild heavy equipment components according to manufacturer specificationsDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issuesInspect parts for wear, damage, and tolerance levelsRepair or replace defective components using proper tools and techniquesMaintain accurate service records and documentationEnsure all rebuilt components meet quality and safety standardsCollaborate with team members and supervisors to complete jobs efficientlyKeep work area clean and organized, following all safety protocolsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred)2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair or component rebuildingStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and powertrain systemsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsProficiency with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with brands such as CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, or similarWelding experience is a plusCDLBenefits401(k) retirement plan with matchComprehensive medical benefits coverage, dental plans and vision coverage.Employee assistance program (EAP)Health care and dependent care spending accounts (FSA)Life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance.Paid time offReferral programEmployee Discount ProgramLocation: Dover, OhioJob Type: Full-Time- Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
