Family Advocate - Denison Head Start & Early Head Start

West Central Community Action is now hiring a Family Advocateto work at our Denison, Iowa Head Start office.The Family Advocate is responsible for providing support & resources to our children and their families. This position will lead our recruitment efforts for both the Head Start & Early Head Start programs in their assigned territory. Our Family Advocate must attend local community events and be knowledgeable of local resources and maintain a positive working relationship with their community partners.This position is 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. This position may require regular travel within our 10-county coverage area as needed. Company vehicle available for travel as needed.Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Human Services or Social Work are considered ideal for this position.
