Pathology in MA 10 miles to Manchester-by-the-Sea & Lynn 20 miles to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) & Lawrence 25 miles to downtown Boston Senior level AP/CP board certified pathologist to join a team of 3 pathologists. Fellowship training and experience in a subspecialty area of surgical pathology, such as gastrointestinal and liver pathology, breast, or gynecologic pathology is desired. Responsibilities include sign-out of general surgical biopsies and resections as well as participating in frozen section, cytology and on-call services in addition to oversight of general clinical pathology needs. Good communication skills and desire to work collaboratively with pathology staff and clinical colleagues are required. Hospital anatomic pathology processes approximately 17,400 surgical and non-gynecologic cytology specimens per year. Clinical pathology provides on-site services in clinical chemistry, hematology/coagulation and transfusion medicine.
