We integrate deep industry expertise with business, technology, and quantitative disciplines to deliver high-impact results for our clients.Overview:This consulting engagement places a Manager-level FP&A professional into a critical finance improvement initiative focused on strengthening financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting. The consultant will assess existing models and management reporting; diagnose gaps in how performance is analyzed across products, customers, plants, and channels; and help design more robust, insight-driven tools and processes suited to a manufacturing/CPG operating environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and enhance financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processesReview and improve revenue, margin, and cost models and assumptionsStrengthen product, customer, plant, and channel profitability analysisPrepare and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and presentationsPerform variance analysis and identify risks and opportunitiesPartner with functional leaders on expense, headcount, and capital planningSupport pricing, investment, and strategic initiative analysisImprove FP&A templates, tools, and analytical frameworksCollaborate with Accounting to align actuals, forecasts, and reporting logicSupport implementation of improved planning and reporting practicesDeliver practical models and tools to sustain enhanced FP&A capabilitiesPrevious ExperienceLed components of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plansBuilt and maintained financial models (revenue, margin, opex, cash flow)Performed performance analysis and variance explanationsProduced management reporting and leadership presentationsPartnered with business functions on planning and analysisDelivered ad hoc analysis for strategy, pricing, and profitabilityImproved FP&A processes, templates, or reporting toolsProvided informal leadership or guidance to analystsParticipated in FP&A optimization or consulting-style initiativesWorked in business partnering or advisory roles with stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field7+ years FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical consulting experienceAdvanced Excel and strong financial modeling/data analysis capabilityExperience with planning/reporting tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, etc.) preferredStrong business partnering and communication skillsAbility to operate in fast-paced, evolving environmentsPreferred: CPG, Food & Beverage, or manufacturing experience with SKU/plant/customer profitability exposureNice to HaveManagement consulting or finance advisory experience (planning/forecasting/performance)Big 4 or consulting firm background** The role compensation will be $80 - $120/hour** For more information about BIP US, visit https://www.bip-group.com/en-us/.Equal Employment Opportunity: It is BIP US Consulting policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on job-related qualifications and ability to perform a job, without regard to age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, creed, national origin, disability, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship, or marital status, and to maintain a non-discriminatory environment free from intimidation, harassment or bias based upon these grounds.
