My client is seeking an attorney with 2+ years of personal injury experience.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Attorney to join my client's legal team in Columbia, SC. In this role, you will lead personal injury case matters.DutiesManage all phases of civil litigation from inception through resolution across multiple practice areas, ensuring timely and effective case progression.Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies and legal arguments.Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and appellate filings with precision and clarity.Develop strong negotiation strategies to facilitate favorable settlements or alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate.Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives while providing clear guidance on legal options and potential outcomes.Coordinate with experts in specialized fields such as environmental science or patent law to strengthen case positions.Maintain detailed case files and records in the law office management system to ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar membership in South Carolina. Must be currently barred.2+ years experience in personal injury litigation.Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear drafting of pleadings and legal memoranda.Proficiency in legal administrative tasks including case management software and document organization.Familiarity with negotiation tactics aimed at dispute resolution or settlement negotiations.Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly while managing multiple cases efficiently.If you’re passionate about delivering impactful legal solutions for your client, we invite you to apply.
