Project ManagerLocation: Torrance - CA Employment type: PermanentResponsibilitiesEstablishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectationsResponsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews: and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriatelyResponsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resourcesCoordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managedManages one or more cross functional projects of high complexityResponsible for the management of one or more medium to large-sized moderately to highly complex projects7 to years of IT work experience5 years managing projects2 years experience in the Automotive industry or in TelematicsHands-on knowledge of custom Internet application and mobility development, information architecture, user experience, and services-based architectureExperience working in a highly matrixed environment with multiple cross-organizational teamsExcellent internal and client-facing communication skillsExperience conducting C-level presentationsStrong knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of products, including MSStrong experience with JIRA and working knowledge of ConfluenceMultiple successful end-to-end deliveries from Scope through Implementation/Warranty, including maintenanceExperience working in a dynamic, highly fluid, technically challenging
