This role is responsible for maintaining VR hardware and software, supporting end users, validating software and firmware updates, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring reliable operation of production VR systems.The ideal candidate has experience supporting VR/AR technologies, enterprise hardware environments, and technical troubleshooting while working closely with engineering teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on VR workstations, head-mounted displays (HMDs), tracking systems, and audiovisual equipmentTest and validate software and firmware updates before deployment into production environmentsDeploy approved software, firmware, and configuration updates across enterprise VR systemsTroubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and tracking issues while performing root cause analysisEscalate complex technical issues to internal engineering teams, suppliers, and external vendorsSupport VR demonstrations, engineering reviews, testing sessions, and special eventsConfigure and maintain VR headsets, tracking devices, motion controllers, and supporting peripheralsMonitor system health, hardware performance, and operational readiness of VR environmentsMaintain technical documentation including procedures, configurations, maintenance logs, troubleshooting guides, and deployment recordsCollaborate with engineering, IT, suppliers, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable VR lab operationsFollow established support procedures, change management processes, and operational standardsAssist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user experienceWhat You'll Be Working OnEnterprise VR and Mixed Reality (MR) laboratoriesEngineering and product design visualization environmentsVR hardware lifecycle managementSoftware and firmware validationVR system deploymentsUser support and technical troubleshootingEngineering collaboration sessions and VR demonstrationsDocumentation and operational supportRequired Skills & Experience1+ years of experience supporting VR, AR, or Mixed Reality environmentsExperience supporting enterprise VR hardware and softwareExperience with high-end VR headsets such as Varjo XR-4, Apple Vision Pro, Vive Focus Vision, Meta Quest 3, or similarKnowledge of VR tracking systems including SteamVR Lighthouse, ART Optical Tracking, or comparable technologiesExperience configuring VR accessories including motion controllers, tracking pucks, and haptic devicesStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsExperience supporting Windows workstations and enterprise hardwareStrong documentation and communication skillsAbility to work independently and within cross-functional technical teamsStable work history within large enterprise organizationsDesired SkillsAutodesk VREDIC.IDONVIDIA CloudXRAV System IntegrationMicrosoft Teams RoomsPython scriptingAutomotive engineering environmentsAerospace visualizationManufacturing visualizationEnterprise technical support3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience preferred
