We’re Hiring: Controls / QA Engineer – Lab Validation & Test BenchCharlotte, NC (Onsite)📧 Interested candidates apply at: vicky@gctus.com(Only W2 – No C2C)Role Focus: Controls Validation, Lab Testing & Test Bench DevelopmentWe are looking for a Controls/QA Engineer to support lab validation, execute structured testing, and ensure strong traceability and defect reporting across multiple engineering programs.Mandatory Skills:✔ Experience in SQA fundamentals and test execution✔ Hands-on lab validation and prototype testing✔ Knowledge of controls systems and inputs/outputs✔ Experience with bench setup and wiring✔ Understanding of engineering basics (heat exchangers, unit conversions)✔ Python scripting or automation exposureNice to Have:✔ Experience with HVAC systems or industrial equipment✔ Knowledge of HIL / test bench validation✔ Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira✔ Background in automation framework developmentKey Responsibilities:• Develop and execute requirements-based test plans• Perform lab testing on prototype systems and document pass/fail results• Maintain test documentation, traceability, and defect logs• Report and track defects with engineering teams• Build and maintain test bench setups and simulators• Contribute to Python-based test automation and validation tools
