Elevate is recruiting a Director-eDDR to join our eDiscovery and Document Review team! The Director will serve as the primary leader for Project Management oversight and coordination, internal team leadership and development, and facilitate collaboration between internal and external teams.Candidates must be willing to work Pacific Time hours. Specifically, the Director willManage and consult with client teams and oversee deliverables related to vendor management, including cross-vendor management at both an enterprise level and case level.Scope and oversee delivery of implementation plans for client engagements, including design, workflow normalization, advising on process design.Provide client consultation within the context of client inputs and goals to optimize data populations for early data assessment, review, and production.Manage team of professional service consultants responsible for service delivery.Supervise the execution of projects and project tasks in a remote environment.Track team utilization, manage workload balancing, and ensure proper resourcing for all incoming review projects.Communicate and maintain billing and project activities with all internal teams to support the optimal outcome of client engagements.Act as a technical advisor and conduct advanced training on analytics, machine learning, and review tools for case teams and other firm personnel.Ensure eDiscovery specifications and deliverables conform to case requirements, including with respect to machine learning, validation, processing, and production.Anticipate, prevent, identify, and resolve issues.Maintain defensible documentation at all times.Establish project milestones, provide status reports, and conduct meetings with service providers and case teams to keep projects on track.Develop cost estimates, advise clients on minimizing costs, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Delegate appropriate tasks to service provider partners and internal resources.Assist and take initiative with firm and departmental projects as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Experience10+ years' experience with managing eDiscovery teams.Experience supporting sales and RFP responses.Experience providing professional as well as technical support to team members and customers.Skills for SuccessStrong interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and develop a team of 5-7 Project Managers.Significant customer services management experience in the legal services industry.Effective project management approaches to assist in the development of overall project plans and milestones, steward results, draft budgets, coordinate work from multiple internal units, and deliver the high standard of excellence expected by our customers.Strong grasp of technical and operational processes and ways to improve and memorialize those processes, always with an eye on achieving customer satisfaction.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to: (a) establish and maintain productive internal and external relationships; and (b) to provide effective consultation on alternative ways to proceed.Sharp analytical skills to comprehend quickly and interpret legal documents, claims substantiation, and claimant representations and provide guidance on how to handle specific types of claims or applications for restitution funds in accordance with the intent of the court, settlement or regulations.Critical thinking with an eye to adding value, coupled with sound judgment.Capable of balancing competing priorities.Ability to work independently, while effectively taking direction from senior management.Adaptability to changing work priorities and customer demands.Resourcefulness in gathering resources to meet project goals.Technical SkillsExcellent MS Office skills - capable of preparing PowerPoint, Word, and Excel files without support.Leading review platforms, including the followingRelativityEverlawExterroQualificationsBachelor’s degree required.Law degree preferred.PMP certificate preferred.CompensationUS national salary range: $155,000-185,000, based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location.
