Lead Teacher

Graces Place of Naperville We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the overall well-being of the students. Duties - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior - Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly - Collaborate with other staff members and parents to support student learning and development Qualifications 30 Semester hours with 6 in ECE, 1 year experience working in childcare - Experience working with children in an educational setting - Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation - Knowledge of childhood development principles - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Required) Experience with children: 1 year (Required) Early childhood education: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Naperville, IL 60563 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Naperville, IL 60563: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
