Apply via Dice today!We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Management Consultant to support project execution, reporting, and operational coordination within our Engineering & Construction organization. This role will play a key part in managing project activities, driving reporting automation initiatives, supporting field operations, and ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Platform tools, and experience working across cross-functional teams in construction, infrastructure, energy, or renewable industry environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day project management operations and coordination activities across assigned projectsDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions for project tracking and executive reportingBuild, optimize, and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline operational and reporting processesManage and govern Power BI workspaces, applications, datasets, and reporting environments, including cleanup and optimization of existing contentMonitor project productivity, schedule adherence, work quality, and contractor safety performanceAssist with scope management, budget oversight, project scheduling, and work-in-progress trackingParticipate in field walkdowns, validate completed work against design requirements, and support constructability reviewsReview contractor and vendor deliverables, invoices, and payment requests for accuracy and complianceCoordinate activities among engineering, construction, analytics, safety, procurement, and contract administration teamsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to identify reporting needs, process improvements, and automation opportunitiesSupport issue resolution, resource coordination, and technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycleInterface with vendors, suppliers, contractors, regulatory agencies, landowners, and local community stakeholders as neededReinforce company expectations related to safety, compliance, quality standards, and corrective action processesAnalyze key performance indicators, financial data, and operational trends to support strategic project decisionsPrepare project status updates, performance reports, and executive-level presentationsPerform additional project-related responsibilities as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Land Surveying, or a related field6 10 years of experience supporting or managing project execution in construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities, or renewable environmentsStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard/report development, workspace management, and governanceExperience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Automate workflowsDemonstrated project management coordination and reporting experienceKnowledge of project lifecycle management, contractor coordination, and field execution supportExperience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platformsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environmentPreferred QualificationsPMP certification preferredExperience supporting capital projects, project controls, or construction reporting initiativesFamiliarity with renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projectsUnderstanding of safety programs, construction compliance, and contractor performance managementExperience working with cross-functional technical and operational teamsAdditional InformationOffice-based role with travel to project sites as required (up to 25%)Long-term contract opportunityCandidates with strong experience in digital reporting, construction operations, and stakeholder coordination are highly encouraged to apply
