Senior Real Estate Counsel - In-House Opportunity

Job Description Our client, a nationally recognized company with a significant commercial real estate portfolio, is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to join its legal team in a senior counsel capacity.This role is ideal for an attorney who combines sophisticated transactional real estate experience with strong business judgment and relationship management skills. The position offers meaningful visibility with executive leadership and the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor on high-impact real estate matters.Responsibilities Include:Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial leases and related agreementsAdvising on eminent domain and property-related issuesReviewing surveys, title matters, easements, and declarationsSupporting strategic real estate initiatives and portfolio managementPartnering closely with finance, operations, and real estate leadershipManaging complex matters independently in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:Minimum 7 years of commercial real estate legal experienceLaw firm and/or in-house experience welcomedStrong lease negotiation and transactional skills requiredExperience handling sophisticated property mattersExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesLicensed and in good standing in any U.S. stateExperience supporting retail, restaurant, or other multi-site commercial real estate portfolios is highly valuedThe environment will particularly appeal to attorneys who enjoy the pace and complexity of high-volume, multi-site commercial real estate operations.This is a confidential search.
