Home-Based Therapist
Life Solutions, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Home-Based Therapist to join our team in South Bend, Indiana. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.Home-Based Therapistsprovide mental health services directly in clients' homes, offering a convenient and comfortable setting for therapy. Home Based Therapists conduct individual, family, or group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, provide crisis intervention, and develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and diagnoses. Additionally, they manage cases by coordinating services and resources, advocate for clients' needs, and help build support systems. Home-based therapists also maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with other professionals, and continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective care.Primary Responsibilities:Provide individual, family, or group therapy sessions to clients in their homesOffer immediate support and intervention during crisesFostering healthy and productive family communicationTransporting families and children to necessary appointments and meetingsEvaluate clients' mental health conditions, symptoms, and stress factors to diagnose and create treatment plansTeach clients coping skills, stress management techniques, and other strategies to improve their mental healthMaintaining working relationships with referral sources by promptly responding to all communication requestsAttending supervision, training, and other meetings as scheduledMaintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic case files according to program timeframes and requirementsCreate and maintain a weekly schedule as dictated by clients (which may include evenings and weekends), utilizing and updating the Microsoft Outlook calendarWe are committed to your well-being and growth, offering a comprehensive package of perks and benefits with varying eligibility based on role, including:Competitive hourly pay & uncapped productivity incentivesFlexible work models & paid time off when you need itHealth and well-being benefits like health insurance, 401k matching, and other family support and wellness resourcesProfessional development with continuing education (CE) reimbursement and dedicated learning time to advance your careerYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Master's degree from an accredited college in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related human service fieldActive and unrestricted LSW, LMFT-A, LMHC-A, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC license in the state of IndianaValid driver's license and the ability to use a private car to transport oneself and others in compliance with state policy concerning minimum car insurance coveragePreferred Qualifications:Experience providing home-based workExperience working with the juvenile probation populationExperience providing therapeutic services to individuals and familiesExplore opportunities at Optum Behavioral Care. Growing together.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment.
