First Resources Corp. of Ottumwa is growing and we are searching for dedicated and energetic Full-time Job Coach. The ideal candidate would be responsible for working directly with individuals served to assist with community based employment. We do this by providing an array of different services such ussubstance use treatment, behavioral intervention services, case management, and home-andcommunity-based services.As a Job Coach You WillMaintains up-to-date, working knowledge of the individuals employment goals and related service documents. Implements all services as outlined in the plan.Completes required trainings according to established agency timelines. Attends staff meetings as scheduled.Makes recommendations to improve services based on knowledge acquired through implementation of program plan and experience with the individuals served. Establish positive relationships with individuals served, family members, and referral sources. Demonstrates appropriate communication and maintain clear and professional boundaries.Advocates and offer choices that supports the individuals rights and responsibilities.Responsible for reporting any health and safety concerns.Keeps supervisor informed of important incidents, and issues concerning individuals served.Strictly adheres to confidentiality guidelines.Responsible to work the schedule agreed upon with supervisor. RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.Experience is preferred, but not required.
