Sales Representative Merchandiser

Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM)The Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM) is responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring effective in-store execution across assigned retail accounts. This role combines sales, merchandising, and customer relationship management to optimize product availability, visibility, and overall performance.The SRM partners with store personnel to identify opportunities, place orders, execute promotional initiatives, and maintain high merchandising standards in alignment with company guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesManage assigned territory and execute daily store visits according to established routes and schedulesDrive sales by identifying opportunities, recommending orders, and supporting promotional programsBuild and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makersEnsure product availability through effective shelf stocking, backroom management, and inventory rotationExecute merchandising standards, including planograms, secondary displays, and point-of-sale (POS) materialsMonitor and ensure pricing accuracy, promotional execution, and overall in-store conditionsTrack and report out-of-stock items, returns, and other inventory-related issuesMaintain accurate and timely records of store visits, activities, and performance using company systemsIdentify new business opportunities within the assigned territory and support customer onboarding when applicableEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or retail (CPG preferred)Experience in direct store delivery environments is a plusBilingual English/Spanish preferredKey CompetenciesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approachAdaptability in a fast-paced, field-based environmentAdditional RequirementsValid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insuranceAbility to travel daily within assigned territoryAbility to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs)Must be authorized to work in the United StatesBenefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programScheduleMonday to Friday8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
