Roof Installer

As a Roofer at Equity Roofing, you'll be an essential part of our team, contributing to projects that enhance the value and integrity of homes. In this role as a residential installer, you'll apply your skills to install roofs with precision and care, ensuring each project meets our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.Please note: this role is based in our Mifflinburg, PA home office, but we do service clients within a 1.5-mile radius.You'll work closely with our Crew Leader and Site Supervisor, learning and growing alongside some of the best in the business. Let's work together to build something great.Responsibilities:Roof InstallationInstall roofing systems, including asphalt shingles and/or standing seam metalAssist with tear-off, underlayment, flashing, drip edge, ventilation, and other componentsEnsure materials are installed safely and according to manufacturer specificationsFollow installation instructions from the Crew Leader or Site SupervisorJobsite Safety & PreparationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsiteUse proper PPE at all timesAssist with loading, staging, and material preparationFollow OSHA and company safety guidelinesQuality ControlInstall all roofing elements to Equity Roofing standardsIdentify potential installation issues and report them immediatelyEnsure clean nail lines, proper nailing patterns, and correct flashing detailsTeam CollaborationWork effectively with the roofing crew and supervisorsCommunicate professionally and respectfullySupport team goals and assist where needed to complete projects on timeTools & DocumentationUse hand tools and power tools safely and correctlyAssist in gathering jobsite photos or documentation when neededHelp load/unload trucks and maintain tool organizationQualifications:2-3 years' roofing installation experience preferred (shingle, metal, or both) and/or construction experience.Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and work on ladders and steep roofs.Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.Reliable transportation to job site meeting points.Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Ability to follow instructions and take direction.Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.Basic tool knowledge (nail gun, hammer, knife, tape measure, etc.).Preferred Qualifications (Not required but highly valuable)Shingle installation background.Metal roofing experience, standing seam knowledge, or the ability to learn.Familiarity with roof ventilation, flashing, and waterproofing.Experience working as part of a roofing or construction crew.About Company:Equity Roofing is a five-star roofing company dedicated to building value through long-lasting, exterior home solutions.
