Control Engineer

Job DescriptionRequirements of the Controls Engineer\n\nBachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.\nFour or more years of relevant experience required (including, but not limited to, material handling, automation, machine design, complex data collection, etc.).\nPLC programming and development (Allen Bradley) experience.\nSchematic and hardware design.\nAdditional experience in the following areas preferred: RS Logix 5000, RS View, PanelBuilder, Robotics Fanuc, AutoCAD, Ethernet IP, EPLAN.\nWorking knowledge: sufficient familiarity with the subject to know basic principles and terminology and to understand and solve simple problems.\n\n\nResponsibilities of the Controls Engineer\n\nDesign and develop control panels and manufacturing equipment.\nDesign electrical and control wiring schematics.\nDesign control logic and systems.\nPLC programming with a strong knowledge of ladder logic.\nHMI design and programming.\nEstablish and support updates of controls standards.\nPerform debug and buyoff of controls functions and systems.\n\n
