Job Title: Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist / Procurement SpecialistDuration: Contract (Initial term with potential extension)Location: RemoteRequired Pay Scale: $35–$38/hr Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidatesJob Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain operations. This role focuses on driving cost optimization, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and procedures.Project Details: Support sourcing and procurement activities across assigned business unitsAnalyze market, industry, and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunitiesExecute sourcing strategies and supplier negotiationsManage supplier performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure timely order processing, delivery tracking, and issue resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams for supplier evaluation and selectionMaintain inventory accuracy and optimize stock levelsSupport audits, reporting, and compliance with supply chain policiesMust Haves2–5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operationsStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsExperience with ERP systems (SAP or similar)Solid analytical skills with ability to interpret market and supplier dataKnowledge of purchasing processes, contracts, and supply chain best practicesStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsDesired SkillsExperience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentUnderstanding of inventory management and demand planningKnowledge of business law and contract complianceExposure to supplier diversity programsAbility to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiativesAbout Matlen SilverExperience Matters.
