Responsibilities And ExpectationsThis position is responsible for creating an outstanding customer service experience for our members and guests by:Meeting and greeting members and their guests upon arrival to the club.Setting up and maintaining an organized practice facility.Managing the tee sheet.Cleaning and detailing golf carts, golf clubs, and other various tools.Must work 3 to 5 days per week; 20 to 30 hours per week; can vary with the seasons and weather permitting.Attributes And RequirementsQualified candidates will have the following:Must be personable with the members and their guests. Communicate well with other staff members. Team player. Very customer service oriented. Dependability. At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. In 1953, Mel Graham's father purchased a small portion of the property as an annex of the Graham Dairy Farm. Decades later, Mel started purchasing any land that attached to his Dad's small farm and eventually assembled over 1,000 acres.In 2001, Mel put the vision of The Club at Longview into action. As Jack Nicklaus stood on this property and looked at the gentle rolling hills with its pines and hardwoods, its creeks, ponds, and nature preserves, he said, "It's as if it was always meant to be the home of a great golf course." Two years later, on October 20, 2003, The Club at Longview officially opened! The old-world charm and architecture found throughout the Club and the Longview community is a direct result of Mel's travels throughout Europe.
