Lead GA Pre-K Teacher

Job Summary The Lead GA Pre-K Teacher is a vital educational professional responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool children. This role involves leading classroom activities, developing curriculum, and fostering early childhood development through innovative teaching strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in early childhood education, classroom management, and specialized skills in literacy, math, and behavior management to support young learners’ growth and welfare. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool children. Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior through effective behavior management techniques. Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate standardized testing preparation and individualized learning strategies for children with special needs or early intervention requirements. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress and address individual child needs related to childhood development and child welfare. Supervise classroom staff and assistants to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained. Integrate inclusive practices for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, preschool experience, Montessori techniques, or other specialized areas such as tutoring or teaching physical education. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Proven experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Experience working with children across diverse backgrounds including toddlers, preschoolers, or students requiring special education or early intervention services. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood settings. Ability to implement Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches such as literacy education or math instruction. Competence in managing classroom dynamics while fostering a positive learning environment conducive to child welfare. Prior experience in daycare settings or private schools is advantageous.
