Glue Room Operator
Job Title: Glue Room OperatorJob DescriptionThe associate will be responsible for making adhesive for our Lamination schedule. This position requires good math skills and the ability to lift 80+ pounds as needed. Previous experience in jobs that required manual labor, math skills, and basic computer knowledge would be a good fit. Specific Duties: 1. Measure chemicals and mix adhesive as required. 2. Maintain a clean and organized work area. 3. Clean drums. 4. Maintain a general inventory of supplies. 5. Keep accurate records. 6. Empty dumpsters. 7. Follow department and company safety regulations. 8. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.Hard SkillsGood math skillsManual labor experienceBasic computer knowledgeJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Emigsville, Pennsylvania.Work EnvironmentThe building is not temperature controlled, but measures have been taken to manage the cold. The space is very clean, well spread out, and well lit. The warehouse section is organized with racking 4-5 levels high. The company is very understanding and people-focused. There are 115 total employees between 1st and 2nd shift. Hours: Training on 1st shift for approximately 4-6 weeks (5am-3pm, Monday-Thursday). After training, the shift will be 2pm-12am, Monday-Thursday. Breaks: Typically a 45-minute lunch and a 15-minute break.
