Membership Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Membership Coordinator STATUS: Full Time FLSA: Exempt REPORTS TO: General Manager PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Membership Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Club’s communication with the membership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Design and/or edit Club flyers, menus, signs, table tents and other collateral to support Club marketing efforts. · Compose and/or edit messaging on behalf of the Club, ensuring proper style, voice, spelling, and grammar. · Photograph/video Club events, activities, gatherings, etc. to support the ongoing Social Media content generation process and for use in Club publications. · Utilize website CMS to update copy, photos and other content on Club and public websites. Work with membership and marketing directors to keep content current. · Assist various Club departments in designing and developing marketing materials as requested. · Manage daily administrative tasks to support the Club and Member Services department as requested. · Keep current with Club offerings, amenities, and special events. · Produces employee newsletter. · In conjunction with General Manager, creates and manages periodic member surveys. · Responsible for maintaining the Club’s graphics standards, logo, visual identity, and brand. · Coordinate freelance photographers, proofreaders, and designers when necessary. · Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years’ experience in a club and/or marketing role. Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) Proficient Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) Proficient in Facebook/Instagram/YouTube for posting and managing content. Ability to work proficiently with web-based CRM and CMS tools (Mail Chimp, Wordpress, etc.). Ability to communicate in a professional and knowledgeable manner with owners-members, management, and internal-external clients and others. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines. Ability to manage a sometimes high volume of work, in a fast-paced work environment. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Working conditions are performed in both interior and exterior surroundings. Physical strength demands may require lifting, carrying, pulling or pushing objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Compensation commensurate with experience.
