Maintenance Technician (Orange County)

If you are skilled, hard-working, with strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in plumbing and electrical systems then this is the job for you.What We Offer$31.00 - $35.00 / hourAchievable BonusPaid VacationsMedical, Vision, Dental, and LifeCompany-paid meal card401K plan with company matchOpportunities for career advancementAmazing company cultureRemote workplaceResponsibilitiesRespond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.Prioritize and complete work orders.Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.Maintain preventative maintenance check list.Detect and report unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment.Replace/clean air conditioner filters, coils, and condensate drains.Plumbing repairs of leaks, clogs in toilets, sinks, drains and water heaters.Electrical maintenance of lighting, switches, fans, signage, general electrical wiring, and diagnostics.Responsible for inspection of maintenance of heating and ventilating equipment and notifying management and or vendor of any major repairs.Regularly check to identify issues related to guest & teammate safety to include litter, lighting, landscape, curb appeal, mechanical failure, or breakdowns.Maintain all restaurant exterior and interior finishes to include stucco, paint, stain, millwork, tile, flooring, walls, etc.Inspect the sprinkler system and trash containers on the company premises.Maintain and upkeep of company provided truck and equipment.Conduct performance assessments of restaurant assets and repair as needed to include foodservice equipment, mechanical appliances, and provide restaurant operators with support and guidance on maintaining their equipment.Provide preventative maintenance and cleaning of ice machines a plus.Assist Regional Building Managers in various capacities.Qualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Operate a computer and manage workorders through Ecotrak (Facilities Maintenance Software).2-year degree in HVAC, Mechanical Systems, Facilities Technology or Building Maintenance from an accredited institution a plus.Five + years of related experience.Ability to work nights + weekends, holidays, emergency calls and overtime as necessary (general daily hours 5am - 2pm).Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.Ability to handle physical workload, lift to 60 pounds, and climb ladders.Knowledge and maintenance of general, specialized tools and equipment.Provide innovative solutions to help resolve on-going breakdowns.Comply with all safety and quality requirements while performing your job.Customer and client focused.Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.Trusting, passionate, humble, and gracious.Build lasting relationships with trust and respect.Create fun.
