Logistics SpecialistJoin a dynamic team as a Logistics Specialist in Indianapolis, responsible for managing the flow of materials and products within a climate-controlled environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments. ResponsibilitiesReceive and stage raw materials efficiently and accurately. Label and package finished goods for shipment. Utilize Oracle software to process orders, generate labels, and post shipments. Conduct inventory cycle counts for precise record keeping and reporting. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely. Create bills of lading and coordinate with carriers for shipping. Process and ship international orders with attention to detail. Schedule containers and prepare necessary customs documentation. Essential SkillsProficiency in conducting inventory cycle counts. Experience in shipping, warehouse, or inventory control for 1+ years. Ability to create bills of lading and manage logistics processes. High School Diploma or GED. Proficient computer skills, particularly with Oracle software. Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP systems is advantageous. Skills in packaging and labeling are beneficial. The position is available for 1st shift, with working hours from 7AM to 3:30PM or 8AM to 4:30PM, ensuring a structured and consistent work schedule. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
