Program Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Manager is responsible for the performance of the work for this requirement. The PM leads and directs the creation of the coaching program for the Defense Agency. This includes but is not limited to Coaching services will include individual coaching for employees, team coaching for DoD teams, team development workshops for groups, and leadership courses for DoD leaders. Several of the coaching services described in this contract will entail the use and application of behavioral and 360 assessments. Essential Functions:
The Program Manager must be able to lead and actively participate in the development of Program Development Plan (PDP) that demonstrates its understanding of the entirety of the program requirements including the tasks, objectives, activities, and experiences, and describes the processes/procedures that will be used to execute the requirements.
The PM will be responsible for managing and delivering the performance objectives that relate directly to mission essential items. The performance threshold briefly describes the minimum acceptable levels of service required for each requirement. These thresholds are critical to mission success.
Manage the design, development and application of course learning materials working with staff, subject matter experts, and consultants on educational programs and resource development.
Partner with presenters and subject matter experts to develop handouts and supplemental materials around defined learning outcomes.
Manage the implementation of educational activity evaluations and other outcomes measurement requirements and assist in the collection and reporting of educational outcomes data to applicable teams.
Partner with instructional design consultant and business leaders to develop performed-based learning that furthers individual development.
Work with facilitators and trainers on logistics and scheduling, and follow-through on overall program administration.
In addition, the role has a focus on content design, with an emphasis on curriculum development.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of relevant managerial experience.
Minimum of five years of direct or indirect experience managing a coaching program for a Defense agency.
Must have 10+ years of experience as Program Manager supporting DoD client, managing teams, directly interfacing with CO/COR, and senior and mid-level Federal Managers.
Proven experience managing subcontractors.
Strong logistics, project management, and technical and organizational skills are required.
Solid understanding of core leadership theories and best practice Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize activities and co-ordinate input from internal and external partners Excellent facilitation skills which encourage participation and appropriate challenge of participants.
Excellent communication and presentation Skills.
Preferred Certifications and Experience:
PMP certification.
