DEPARTMENT: Urgent Care / Occupational Health / Trine Student Health Center/ Employee Health JOB TITLE: Clinical Manager SHIFT: 80 Hours Bi-Weekly, Day Shift BENEFITS: This is a full time, benefit eligible position. Summary/Objective Manages and oversees daily operations of assigned clinics following Cameron Memorial Community Hospitals values, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions Exemplifies good customer service. Demonstrates competence in specialty appropriate to clinic. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan, coordinate, provide and evaluate patient care in designated clinic. Develops provider schedule. Monitors and adjusts staffing to achieve maximum productivity with available staff. Has oversight of the CMCH employee health program and staff. Assures streamlined roles/tasks between employee health and occupational health departments. Completes accurate payroll, interviews, hires, counsels, and evaluates employees regarding job performance, conduct and other related matters. Assures annual staff competencies/licensures/certifications are relevant and kept up to date. Maintains all required manuals, creates/updates all policies and procedures in policy stat, investigates patient concerns and documents recommended action in electronic database. Aligns clinic, staff and personal goals with Cameron’s Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan. Ensures process improvement by identifying Key Performance Indicators, establishing plan for improvement, and working with staff to achieve desired outcomes. Maintains dashboard for quality review and prepares annual report. Prepares and maintains budget for assigned clinic. Attends and actively participates in hospital and clinic-based meetings. Collaborates and communicates regularly with the Director of Cameron Medical Group. Carries out all duties in a manner consistent with Cameron’s Guiding Principles and Values and according to Cameron’s policies and procedures. Qualifications Experience Two or more years supervisory experience preferred Skills/Competencies Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to multitask and problem solve Education Required HS diploma or GED Licenses Requirements Current Nursing License in the state of Indiana preferred Certifications Required or Preferred BLS – or the ability to obtain within one month of date of hire ACLS Preferred Supervisor Responsibilities CMG registrar/Medical Assistants/LPN’S/RN’s/Mid-level Providers/Ancillary Staff/Allied Health Professionals
