In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test strategies for our embedded systems that power coffee brewing technology.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems testing, automation, and quality assurance methodologies.Your RoleDesign and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded firmware and hardware componentsCreate and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded systems validationPerform functional, regression, and system‐level testing on embedded devicesDevelop test fixtures and hardware setups to validate product functionalityCollaborate with firmware developers to identify and resolve defectsDocument test procedures, results, and technical specificationsParticipate in design reviews to ensure testability of new featuresAnalyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholdersSupport continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes for embedded softwareContribute to improving overall product quality and reliabilityYour Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field5+ years of experience in embedded systems testingStrong knowledge of embedded software testing methodologies and toolsFamiliarity with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB)Knowledge of RTOS concepts and embedded LinuxStrong analytical and problem‐solving skillsExcellent documentation and communication abilitiesPreferred ExperienceExperience with test automation frameworks for embedded systems (e.g., pytest)Proficiency in at least one programming language (C, C++, Python)Experience with consumer electronics or appliance testingKnowledge of IoT device testingFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Experience with hardware‐in‐the‐loop (HIL) testingUnderstanding of power management and thermal testingKnowledge of safety standards for consumer productsExperience with JIRA, Xray, or similar test management toolsBackground in developing custom test equipment or fixturesLife at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well‐being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
