Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $2,490 to $2,530 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Resurrection Medical Center (RMIL) is seeking three experienced Respiratory Therapists for a high-priority night shift assignment. This is an emergent need requiring a professional who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced Chicago medical center. Due to the urgency of the start date, the facility is permitting reduced compliance for an expedited onboarding process. Key Responsibilities Respiratory Care: Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services, including ventilator management, aerosol treatments, and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. Emergency Response: Provide critical support during codes and rapid responses (ACLS/PALS/NRP protocols). Clinical Assessment: Monitor patient respiratory status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and therapy logs in accordance with facility standards. Schedule & Logistics Shift: Nights (19:00 – 07:30) | 12-Hour Shifts. Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Scheduling Note: Flexibility is a MUST. No block schedules will be permitted. Compliance: Streamlined onboarding (License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and MMR/Varicella proof/declination only). Note: This is a highly emergent backfill. Candidates must be prepared for a quick start and demonstrate immediate clinical readiness. Requirements Experience & Certifications: Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. License: Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner License (Verification required). Core Certifications: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) NRP Clinical Skills: Proficiency in adult and/or pediatric respiratory protocols. Ability to work independently during night shifts in a high-volume environment.
