Our client, EQT Real Estate (formerly EQT Exeter), is a global leader in real estate investment management and one of world's largest owner/developers of industrial real estate with $58B in AUM. Due to an expanding portfolio in Houston, they are looking to hire an experienced Investment/Leasing Officer (ILO) to help lead their efforts in this market.EQT currently has over 5M sq.ft. (25+ buildings) in Houston, and is extremely well-funded with big expansion plans for this market. This ILO will be focus on acquiring properties/portfolios and helping grow their Houston portfolio!Key details:Job Title - Investment & Leasing Officer (ILO)Source new building acquisitions and land development opportunitiesPursue build-to-suit and buy-to-suit opportunitiesManage the leasing process and expand brokerage relationshipsDevelop strong relationships and acquire on/off market dealsThis is essentially a "Market Leader" role for HoustonVery attractive compensation package to include a base salary + commissions + LTI'sIdeal Candidate:10+ years of industrial leasing and/or acquisitions experience in the local marketProven success in leasing and acquiring industrial real estateA great network and connections within the local brokerage communityDesire to be actively engaged in networking and sourcing off-market opportunitiesBachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate or related field is requiredThis is a great opportunity to be a market leader and help EQT grow their presence in Houston.
