Nurse Practitioner South Miami FLPart time 1 day per weekWe are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice part time in South Miami, FL. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner with Ortho or Rheumatology experience in the area that wants to work part time only, 1 day per week, with the potential to increase hours as patient census warrants. Clinic hours will be split between scheduled times for seeing typical rheumatology patients, and other scheduled times for treating knee osteoarthritis patients with viscosupplementation (hyaluronic acid).About us:We are a medical practice in South Miami, FL offering Rheumatology and Osteoarthritis conservative treatment modalities and over the 8 years, our practice has continued to grow. We have a dedicated team of internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, and chiropractors who collaborate to provide a comprehensive approach to our patient s health and wellness needs.Responsibilities:Diagnose and treat patients with rheumatic diseases, such as arthritis, lupus, and fibromyalgia and OADevelop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and imaging studies.Perform joint injections (knee) and aspirations under C-arm fluoroscopic guidance.Provide patient education on managing symptoms, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.Prescribe DME bracing for knees, low back and wrists as medically neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and develop comprehensive treatment plans.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.Requirements: Nurse practitioner with Ortho/Rheumatology experienceNP license to practice in FLLarge joint injection experience, especially for viscosupplementation (hyaluronic acid) under fluoroscopic guidance (C-arm) preferredSchedule: 1 day per weekSalary (range): $70/hrWe are seeking a Nurse Practitioner with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members, to provide compassionate care and support to patients dealing with chronic pain and disability.
