Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.What You Will DoPerforms complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functionsVerifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefitsEnsures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are Collects non-covered feesMinimum QualificationsMinimum High school or equivalentOne year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferredStrong interpersonal, communication and interview skillsDemonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devicesKnowledge of medical terminology and medical insurancesPosition Highlights And BenefitsPart time 10hrs per week, 3p-8p.
