Business Analyst - Design Technology Organization

We need energy, curiosity and a relentless interest in creating the best customer experience!We are seeking a talented, self-directed Business Analyst to support analytical needs of the Design Technology Team.We need someone with extensive experience in developing core metrics and key performance indicators for organizations and development of analytic insight. You should be passionate about developing insights, setting high standards, providing information that enables strategic decision-making. You should be able to work with leaders and clients to develop and define key business questions, then work backwards to deliver reporting and visualization that tell an effective story. We are looking for someone that is excited about working with data and skilled to expose us to the opportunities of data driven analysis. We need someone that is passionate about collaborating with all partners to create a storyboard of success stories that help us scale Design.This role will support the organization by being focused on a range of business process improvement initiatives. This position will support multiple initiatives and have responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, and verify new and existing projects.Support the analytical needs of the organization including routine reporting, creation of dashboards and scorecards, and ad-hoc reportingPartner with Design Technology Leader to scope and set project priorities and sequencing, milestone planning, and resource allocation needs to execute against business area objectives.Plan and drive the execution of design projects from inception to completion. Own the creation and management of project plans, implement an effective system of project status tracking, manage stakeholder expectationsServe as the go-to point of contact for tracking and reporting on in-flight project status and priorities, roadblocks, and dependencies. Make sure interdependencies are understood and planned for. Balance competing priorities and adjust resources as necessaryLead projects to provide analytic insights that support our business clients' needs to drive changeUtilize various analytical methods to provide all stakeholders with analysis, insight and direction that will move the needle on our key business metrics of successDevelops all performance metrics and reports andEnsure that the quality and timeliness of analytic deliverables to meet and exceed the Design Technology team expectationsPrepares Monthly Operating Review (MOR) and other required presentationsManages the annual planning cycle and all required dataProvides predictive analysis to understand potential business risks and opportunitiesUse of strong communication and presentation skills to identify the business problem, negotiate a proposed solution, execute, present, track and implement the solutionSupport the creation of business plans to support new opportunities and drive strategic decision makingDocument requirements in form of use cases, user stories, and business rulesProvide revenue projections and opportunity cost analysis to product managers and business leadersBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or other highly quantitative fields5 + years of professional work experience in business analytics or business intelligenceAdvanced skills in MS Office, particularly ExcelProficiency in writing intermediate to complex SQL queriesProficiency in self-service BI platforms, particularly TableauExperience gathering business requirements and developing scorecards and dashboards to surface meaningful KPIs and actionable intelligence to senior leaders
