Become an integral part of a diverse team. Currently, DIGITALSPEC is seeking an experienced, motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer to join our team.
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience with at least (3+) years of experience.
Clearance: DoD Secret Clearance, required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Work across all the Task Areas. Support documentation of SOPs, update SOPs as-needed basis, Revise SOPs, Edit and format all the client deliverables, support LMM Tailoring Plan, participate in gate reviews, facilitate standard templates, support and lead the development content of SOPs, deliverables, and other work products.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interact with IT engineers and developers to understand IT capabilities and solutions in the areas of infrastructure, security, applications, and data management. Develop documentation, training, and presentation material for management, executives, government stakeholders, external entities, internal users, and the public
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Microsoft Project, Camtasia, and web publishing tools preferable.
Strong organizational planning and time management skills; the ability to multitask and work against strict deadlines is critical.
Strict attention to detail, ability to review and edit proposal content for compliance, clarity, and proper use of terminology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
