Job Description **TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONSIDERED PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE AT 713-680-9898**We are looking for Stick Welders (some MIG) that will be responsible for joining or repairing metal parts using a variety of welding techniques, such as arc welding, gas welding, and resistance welding. They must be able to read blueprints and schematics, and they must be proficient in the use of specialized welding equipment. Welders must also be familiar with safety procedures and regulations.Duties and Responsibilities:Weld metal parts together according to blueprints or specificationsPrepare surfaces for welding by grinding, cleaning, and applying flux or filler metalOperate welding machines, such as arc welders, gas welders, and resistance weldersMonitor welding parameters, such as temperature and currentInspect welds to ensure they are of high quality and meet specificationsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to travel2+ years of experience as a welder or welder helperProficient in arc welding, gas welding, and resistance weldingAbility to read blueprints and schematicsKnowledge of welding safety procedures and regulationsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCandidates already registered with us, please send an updated resume to interviews@lpcpersonnel.com and reference the job title.
