Pharmacy Operations ManagerRx3 Compounding Pharmacy – Richmond, VA Position SummaryRx3 Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our two Richmond-area pharmacy locations. This is a hands-on operational leadership role focused on workflow efficiency, team accountability, customer service, inventory coordination, and overall business operations. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will work closely with pharmacy leadership to help ensure smooth operations, strong communication, and an exceptional patient experience across the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership•        Oversee daily pharmacy operations across two locations to ensure efficient, patient-focused workflow•        Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and operational priorities to support business needs•        Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements•        Help maintain a fast-paced, organized, and accountable work environment Leadership•        Supervise and support pharmacy support staff, technicians, and operational personnel•        Assist with onboarding, coaching, training, and performance management•        Help build consistency, accountability, and strong communication across teams and locations Inventory & Vendor Coordination•        Monitor inventory levels, purchasing activity, and supply management processes•        Coordinate with wholesalers and vendors to support operational efficiency•        Help minimize waste, expired products, and inventory discrepancies Customer Service & Operations Support•        Ensure a high level of customer service and responsiveness•        Assist in resolving operational or service-related issues•        Support smooth communication between pharmacy staff, patients, and providersCompliance & Process Improvement•        Support pharmacy operational procedures and healthcare compliance standards•        Assist with audits, documentation, reporting, and operational tracking•        Utilize pharmacy systems and reporting tools to improve workflow and operational performance Qualifications•        Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred•        3+ years of operations management or leadership experience in pharmacy, healthcare, medical practice, or a related environment•        Prior pharmacy operations experience strongly preferred•        Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required•        Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills•        Ability to multitask and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment•        Comfortable driving accountability, process improvement, and operational consistency•        Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software systems Why Join Rx3?•        Established independent pharmacy with strong community reputation•        Growth-oriented organization with opportunity to make a meaningful impact•        Collaborative leadership team•        Fast-paced, team-oriented culture•        Opportunity to help shape operational strategy and continued growth About Rx3 Compounding PharmacyFounded in 1995, Rx3 Compounding Pharmacy was built on a simple philosophy: deliver exceptional patient care through high quality products, outstanding service, and a team that treats every patient like family.
