About this positionSeeScan is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Team Lead to join our team. This is a fully onsite position located in San Diego.CompensationThe salary range for our Senior Electrical Engineer/Team Lead position is $180,000 to $220,000 annually.This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. We are looking for a long-term, in-house teammate to join us, not a contractor or consultant.In this position, you willWork as a senior-level individual contributor while providing project- and enterprise-level technical leadershipLead cross-functional initiatives as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, driving multiple product development and sustaining engineering projectsDrive new electronic designs supporting plumbing diagnostic and utility locating equipmentDefine and enforce design performance requirements and perform qualification testingGuide collaboration between mechanical and software engineers on new product design projectsIdentify, analyze and isolate problems on both system-wide and board-level scalesAbout youCollaborative team leader with excellent communication skillsEffective and efficient at troubleshooting and root cause analysisAble to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a sense of urgencyAbstract "outside the box" thinkerYour background7+ years' experience in an electronic design and test role, including demonstrated leadership of projectsHands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design; Altium experience preferredExperience with tool suites such as LTSpice, HyperLynx, Python and/or MatlabBS in EE, CE, Physics, or relatedAbout SeeScanBeneath the ground and below the water's surface is a world out of sight.
