System Integration Engineer
Location: Melbourne, Florida

REDLattice is seeking a highly skilled System Intergation Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of advanced cyber systems and products. This role requires a strong technical foundation in low-level subsystems, large- to medium-scale codebases, and multi-component product integration. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable working across software and hardware environments, and thrives in technically complex, mission-focused settings.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support low-level system architectures and subsystems
Integrate multiple components into cohesive, scalable products
Contribute to large- to medium-scale system design and codebase development
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including software, hardware, and embedded specialists
Support product lifecycle activities from concept through deployment
Participate in technical design reviews and provide engineering recommendations
Ensure system performance, reliability, and security requirements are met
Utilize modern development tools and version control systems to support engineering workflows
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience with C/C++ and Python
Proficiency with Git and modern development practices
Experience working within large- to medium-scale codebases and complex, multi-component systems
Ability to work effectively in both software and hardware-integrated environments
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced technical setting
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within cyber, defense, or other mission-critical environments
Familiarity with reverse engineering (RE) or vulnerability research (VR) concepts
Hands-on experience working with hardware or embedded systems
Exposure to PCB design and hardware integration
Ability and working knowledge of soldering is preferred
Understanding of secure system design principles
